Collaborating with Parents

Parent/Teacher Conferences:
Each teacher at Temple Sinai Preschool is trained in child development and is an experienced observer of young children. Throughout the year, we keep a close eye on your child's progress in each area of development.  We rely on parents to let us know about your child's behavior at home, and any questions or concerns you might have.  Two parent/teacher conferences are scheduled during the school year, and they are a key part of your child's preschool experience.  During conference time, teachers provide you with their observations and assessment of your child’s cognitive, social, emotional and gross and fine motor development.  In addition to these formal conference times, we welcome you to meet with your child’s teachers any time during the school-year. 
 

Classroom Observations:Parents are welcome to observe in their child’s classroom any time they or their children's teacher feels a need.
