Children’s Services, Programs and Childcare
Children's Services
Rosh HaShana (Sept 17th) and Yom Yippur (Sept 26)
1:30pm in the Temple Sinai Sanctuary
These afternoon kid-friendly services
include singing, storytelling and lots of fun for families with children 5 and
under. On Rosh HaShana, the children sing Happy Birthday to the world and blow
shofars. On Yom Kippur, parents and children are given “boo boo Band-Aids” and
apologize to each other for any hurt feelings over the last year. The children
also sit in the aisle of the Sanctuary and we unroll the Torah across their
laps. This is a favorite service for most parents! Tickets are not required
for these afternoon services.
Babysitting /
