Family Shabbatot

First Friday of each month at 6:30pm
Family Shabbats are kid-friendly, musically-oriented, and encourage children’s participation. All are welcome and these services are especially popular with families with children between the ages of 5-13 years of age.

Family Shabbats have a shorter service and the sermon is replaced by a story. Birthday blessings are offered for anyone celebrating a birthday that month.

Students in the Grades 4 through 7 help lead a Family Shabbat service once a year.  Services take place at the Temple Sinai Sanctuary at the corner of 28th and Webster Streets.

Family Shabbats are a great way to connect with Shabbat and with families with young children.
