Home of Eternity Cemetery

Home of Eternity Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery administered by Temple Sinai in Oakland located at 5000 Piedmont Avenue. In 1875 two acres of land was purchased from the Mt. View Cemetery Association. Following the dictates of Jewish Law, burial ground was consecrated to create a cemetery for the congregation and for the Bay Area Jewish community. A mausoleum was built in the 1930s with additions added in the 1940s and 1960s.

The Cemetery serves Temple Sinai members and the larger Jewish Community.
