Im Tirtzu: If you will it, it is no dream. – Theodor Herzl

Thank you for your interest in Im Tirzu, Temple Sinai’s capital campaign, one of the most important is that Temple Sinai. Ours is a community that embraces all who seek to participate in the richness of Jewish life with a warm and welcoming spirit. This true community spirit – the strength and character of our Temple – comes from the participation of all the members of our community.

As of April 23, 2010, we have raised $12,788,464 from 699 Households (73% of our congregation).  To view a listing of our generous donors, please click here.

Our goal is to achieve 100% participation, and your support is crucial to our success. Your gift is also a special opportunity to honor the hard work and commitment Rabbi Chester has made to our community.  We understand that all of our congregants have different financial situations, but that most would like to make a contribution to this important project for our community. Every gift—at every level—will contribute toward turning our collective vision for an ideal temple home into a reality.

Our Campaign Co-chairs Esther Saidman, (510) 865-2864 or Barbara Morrison, (510) 547-2656 would be happy to talk with you about the project.

This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to invest in the future of our Temple, and to give to future generations what others have given to us – a strong and dynamic congregation that is housed in buildings and spaces that serve the educational, social, and spiritual needs of our current and future members.

In advance, many thanks for your support of this incredible project.
