YouthJunior Youth Groups: SIMCHA & YOFI
Temple Sinai’s Junior Youth Groups, Simcha/Joy for students in grades 4 and 5 and Yofi/Terrific for students in grades 6 and 7, provide informal Jewish learning and lots of fun and community building. Simcha and Yofi hold Sunday afternoon events throughout the school year.

Confirmation
Temple Sinai 10th graders celebrate another Jewish education milestone and affirmation of their commitment to Jewish life through the ritual of Confirmation. Confirmation classes, taught by Temple Sinai rabbis, are the core class of Midrasha’s 10th grade program for Temple Sinai students. The Confirmation program includes an annual Chain of Tradition Dinner and a student-created Confirmation service. In order to participate in Confirmation, students must be enrolled in Midrasha.

Madrichim
The Madrichim program is an opportunity for Temple Sinai youth in 8th-12th grades to learn leadership skills and to give back to the community by serving as Teaching Assistants in the Religious School. Madrichim make a commitment to serve one classroom through the duration of the school year, providing general classroom support, working one-on-one with students, and leading small groups and activities. Madrichim have monthly training sessions and periodic mentoring meetings.  Madrichim receive a stipend for their work. Students must be enrolled in Midrasha in order to participate.
