Sababa* Shabbat is a new way to celebrate Shabbat with children in Pre-K through 2nd grade and their families at Temple Sinai! This exciting new service will occur every month from October through May and will offer families the opportunity to celebrate. Please click here for more information on Sababa Shabbat service times.
Family Shabbatot are kid-friendly, musically-oriented, and encourage children's participation. All are welcome and these services are especially popular with families with children between the ages of 5-13 years of age. Family Shabbatot have a shorter service and the sermon is replaced by a story. Birthday blessings are offered for anyone celebrating a birthday that month.
Services are followed by an Oneg gathering with folk dancing led by a dance specialist and all ages and levels of folk dancing experience are invited to join in. Students in the Grades 4 through 7 help lead a Family Shabbat Service once a year. Family Shabbatot are a great way to connect with Shabbat and with families with young children.
