The Immigrant Advocates Work Group in partnership with Jewish Family & Community Services East Bay and HIAS will sponsor the fourth community-wide Refugee/Immigrant Shabbat at our Friday night service. This service is a HIAS-initiated project, giving congregations across the U.S. the opportunity to dedicate time to reflect on the refugee/immigrant crises, which is even more dire this year than ever before.

• Shira Levine, Deputy Legal Director of the Immigration Institute of the Bay Area and former Immigration Judge, San Francisco Immigration Court

• Juan Enriquez Delgadillo, Immigration Legal Service Advocate, East Bay Sanctuary Covenant
