Introducing the Temple Sinai Family Center!

Introducing the new Family Center at Temple Sinai—designed for families and children ages 0–2 and their caregivers. This welcoming space offers classes and opportunities to connect, build community, and celebrate Jewish life from the very beginning. Whether you’re a member, non-member, part of a blended-faith family, or just starting your Jewish journey—there’s a place for you here.

Temple Sinai Family Center Schedule of Classes—Winter 2026

CLASS NAME WHO'S IT FOR? DESCRIPTION DATES/TIMES COST?
Baby Bilingual Parents/Caregivers and Children 0 – 3 years Baby Bilingual is a joyful, play-based music class. Through live music, movement, rhythm play, and natural Spanish exposure, families connect, learn, and share plenty of giggles—exploring a mix of Spanish songs along with joyful music celebrating the Jewish holidays.

Baby and Me Tinok V'Ani New Parents and Babies Born Between August 1, 2025 and January 30, 2026 An informal group celebrating the discovery of parenting. Explore what it means to be a new parent and hear others’ experiences. Ask questions in a safe environment. Seek support and develop new friends.
Led by Karen Tanner, M.A., Infant Development Specialist, California Transdisciplinary Reflective Facilitator, and Credentialed Early Childhood Special Education teacher.		 Saturdays, 9:00 – 10:30am

Shabbat Kids Parents/Caregivers and
Children 6 months – 2 years		 An immersive, Shabbat-themed playgroup experience where children celebrate Shabbat with songs, activities, and community connection.

Sababa Shabbat Mornings Young Families

Join us for a family-friendly Shabbat on the Temple Sinai playground! Geared toward children ages 0–5 and their grown-ups, we'll celebrate Shabbat through song, movement, and story. Connect with other families and enjoy a joyful morning outdoors. Feel free to bring a blanket and snacks—everyone is welcome!
