Children's Services

Rosh HaShanah (September 19) and Yom Kippur (September 28)
These afternoon kid-friendly services include singing, storytelling and lots of fun for families with children 5 and under. On Rosh HaShanah, the children sing Happy Birthday to the world and blow shofars. On Yom Kippur, parents and children use “boo boo Band-Aids” as object lessons and apologize to each other for any hurt feelings over the last year.

Children’s Program (K – 3rd Grade)
The High Holy Days Children's Program coincides with morning services held on Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur.

Book of Remembrance

It is a custom at Temple Sinai to honor the memory of family members or other departed loved ones in a "Book of Remembrance” that is distributed at the Yizkor service on Yom Kippur at Temple Sinai. This year, Temple Sinai is featuring a Virtual Book of Remembrance that will be online and available all year long.

Click here to view our Virtual Book of Remembrance and submit the name(s) of your loved ones.
