Help a Greenleaf School Family During the Holidays

Greenleaf Elementary School, Oakland

The Adopt-a-Family (AAF) project at Greenleaf School is part of Temple Sinai’s People of the Book Literacy Project. It helps support families who might not otherwise have the means to purchase holiday gifts.

In past years, our congregants and friends' generosity has brightened the holidays for more than 75 Greenleaf families. We invite our Temple Sinai community to once again share the spirit of giving by donating $25 Target gift cards and new, unwrapped books. 

This year, Rodolfo Perez, the outreach coordinator and organizer at the school, is taking over for Debbi Berenberg, who diligently served as the Temple liaison and organizer for many years. We thank her for her time and dedication.
