Temple Sinai is a warm and vibrant multi-generational synagogue in the heart of Oakland. We are a Reform congregation offering Shabbat and holiday services that encompass a wide-variety of music and prayer styles. We provide engaging and meaningful Jewish learning opportunities for all ages and stages of life.

Erev Shabbat Family Service
I Scream (Ice Cream) for Shabbat
Friday, July 3 at 6:30pm at Merritt Village

These services are especially popular with families with children between the ages of 5-13 years of age.  This is a shorter service and the sermon is replaced by a story.  This service will be held outside, so please bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on.  Ice cream will be served at the oneg.

Singin' in the Rain, There's No Business Like Show Business, and As Time Goes By, are just a few of the songs we’ll be singing in the Sanctuary. Song leaders and skilled piano accompaniment will encourage everyone to join in and the words will be projected on a screen.
